WHAT WE DO

At Close Knit Family Housing, we provide more than support, we provide a pathway forward. Our programs are designed to meet immediate needs while building a strong foundation for long-term stability.

Support for Unaccompanied Youth (Ages 16–18)

We work with youth who are navigating life without a stable support system while trying to complete high school. We provide:

  • Ac​Academic support and accountability
  • Life skills development (time management, hygiene, communication)
  • Mentorship and guidance
  • Resource navigation and advocacy
  • Preparation for independent living

Our goal is to ensure every youth we serve has the support needed to graduate and confidently transition into adulthood.

Transitional Housing for Young Adults (Coming Fall 2026)

As part of our commitment to long-term stability, we are preparing to launch a transitional housing program for young adults ages 18–24. This program will provide:

  • Safe and stable housing
  • Structured support and accountability
  • Financial literacy and savings plans
  • Employment and career readiness support
  • Guidance toward securing permanent housing
Support for Young Adults (Ages 18–24)

For young adults experiencing homelessness, we provide tools and support to help them regain stability, including:

  • Financial literacy and budgeting guidance
  • Savings plans and goal setting
  • Employment readiness support
  • Assistance securing permanent housing
  • Ongoing mentorship and accountability
  • Higher education and workforce pathway support (college enrollment, vocational training, job placement readiness)
Life Skills & Financial Empowerment

Across all programs, we focus heavily on building independence through:

  • Budgeting and money management
  • Job readiness and professionalism
  • Daily living skills
Community & Connection

We create opportunities for connection and healing through events and programs like our Eat, Paint, and Listen experience offering safe spaces for expression, relationship building, and support.
